Welcome to Wooster FC 


Introducing Wooster FC, a soccer team founded in 2023 for post high school, collegiate, and soccer enthusiasts over the age of 18. The team competes in the Northern Ohio Soccer League (NOSL), providing players with the opportunity to continue developing their skills and passion for the sport. Join us on the field and be a part of the Wooster FC community.

ABOUT THE NOSL

The Northern Ohio Soccer League was founded in 2017 to offer a competitive playing experience for players located in Northern Ohio. After a year and a half of planning and organizing, the league kicked off its inaugural men's season in 2019 with five teams. The 2020 season was canceled due to the pandemic, but the league came back stronger with nine men's teams for its 2021 season. 

There are no age restrictions above 18years of age as to who can play as the league caters to high school, college, and adult players. The NOSL continues to grow and has become one of the best avenues for competitive adult soccer in the area and looks to continue offering premium, competitive leagues at affordable prices. Season typically runs around mid May through mid July each year.

City of Wooster Memorial tournament

The Wooster Recreation Department and Wooster FC are very excited to announce the return of the Memorial Day Tournament, but now dedicated to the memory of Jeff Beery, a beloved member of our community. This tournament will bring together players of all skill levels for a weekend of friendly competition, camaraderie, and remembrance. ⚽​?​

This tournament is open to recreation teams who are currently registered in the Wooster Recreation Spring Season.

Starting in 2024, all NOSL men's member clubs will be eligible to participate in an all-new competition, the League Cup. The League Cup will feature teams from both divisions competing in a single-elimination knockout tournament that will run throughout the NOSL's regular league season. The fixtures will be played on predetermined Tuesday and Wednesday windows throughout the season.

Teams that register for the tournament will be randomly drawn against each other. The NOSL League Cup Draw will be held on March 13, 2026 and livestreamed on the NOSL's YouTube channel.

The League Cup Final will be played July 2026  at a location that is still to be determined. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
